While employed with ERICO, I have been afforded multiple opportunities within many facets of the business. I joined ERICO in September 2000 as a Manufacturing Engineer, while enrolled in Cleveland State University's Master of Electrical Engineering program. In 2002 I was promoted to a second shift supervisor of manufacturing and then moved to a different product line as a day shift manufacturing supervisor in 2003. An exciting opportunity took me from the US to Australia to become a Plant Manager in 2004, and shortly thereafter the Supply Chain Manager for our Australia/Asia business. In that role, I led the restructuring of our Australian business by positioning ERICO's operations to more effectively support our aggressive sales growth in the region, and to become a dominant player in multiple markets. My next move was to Tilburg, the Netherlands to manage multiple projects for about 8 months in 2007. In July of 2007, I accepted my next opportunity in the States to manage the North American and Latin American Customer Service teams.
I like the opportunities that ERICO makes available to its employees, and its willingness to marry the needs of the company with the goals and aspirations of its employees. ERICO has allowed me to develop a wide range of technical and business skills and to pursue various roles within the company as I continue to grow professionally.
ERICO is unique in that it can offer the benefits of both a large and small company. Being a global company, ERICO places its employees in a very dynamic and diverse atmosphere which provides many opportunities to grow and to succeed. At the same time, ERICO is small enough to foster a real sense of belonging, where employees are more than just a number, making it possible to know and interact with people and to make an impact across the business.
