ERICO® offers a wide range of powerful rail tools, which include rail drills, rail grinders and impact wrenches. These easy-to-use machines feature compact, portable designs and are ideal for long-term use.
 
The SBM-V range of petrol/gasoline rail drills are designed for smooth, reliable and powerful drilling operation. The 2-stroke and 4-stroke drills have a 267 rpm spindle speed and eliminate the need to premix fuel. The machines can take a range of drill sizes from signaling bond hole applications to fishbolt hole sizes.
 
The SBG150 is a gas (petrol)-powered portable rail grinder can be used in tight areas and grinds the head and web with the same piece of equipment. It has a 39cc two-cycle engine that is 10% larger than previous models, yet it weighs only 18 lbs (8.2 kg). The grinder features an adjustable tool rest. Maximum wheel speed is 6,000 rpm.
 
The SBG200 is a 12 lb (5.5 kg) gas (petrol)-powered rail grinder with a simplified design to reduce the possibility of damage from long-term use. A unique design allows grinding in tight areas and it grinds the head and web with only one piece of equipment. The 4-stroke Honda® engine provides 10,500 rpm with no load applied.
 
The SBG100 cordless rail grinder weighs 7 lbs and features a three-position side handle and a conveniently positioned trigger switch. This powerful, 18 V, 6,500 rpm cordless cut-off tool has a metal gear case to dissipate heat for longer bearing, gear and motor life. It includes a case, two batteries, one-hour charger, wrench and grinding wheels.
 
The GT-3500GE portable impact wrench is a powerful and sturdy tool for spot maintenance of way requirements. It can be used for running on/off of rail bolts, tightening of threaded rail fastenings, fitting or extracting of coachscrews and drilling of wooden sleepers/ties. It can take standard 1” sockets and augers.
