Positive Train Control Grounding Kit is Designed to Protect Against Damaging Surges and LightningERICO has developed a Positive Train Control grounding kit, which contains a range of products ideally suited to offer reliable grounding and lightning protection.

Positive Train Control (PTC) systems are integrated command, control, communications and information systems for safely and efficiently controlling train movements. PTC systems help improve railroad safety by significantly reducing the probability of over-speed accidents, collisions between trains, casualties to roadway workers and damage to equipment. The antenna tower is a key element of a PTC system because it helps facilitate communication and interaction with the train.
To help protect the antenna tower from damage caused by dangerous surges and lightning, ERICO has developed a Positive Train Control grounding kit, which contains a range of products ideally suited to offer reliable grounding and lightning protection.
The PTC grounding kit includes ground rods, clamps, CADWELD® welding material, molds, welders and bare copper cable. Combined together, these products provide a comprehensive system for protecting the valuable components within the antenna tower.
