CADDY® PYRAMID RL Series Roller-based Thermoplastic Support
 The CADDY® PYRAMID line of
rooftop pipe supports offers superior load capacity and dramatically
reduces installation time by replacing slow, heavy and labor-intensive methods
to support pipe, conduit, duct, cable tray and equipment.
To provide installers with a more extensive range of
products for roofing applications, ERICO has expanded this popular line with
the CADDY® PYRAMID RL Series Roller-based Thermoplastic Supports.
With a unique design and continuous bottom surface, the supports provide
uniform load distribution and help protect the roof membrane from damage caused
by concentrated pressure.
The supports feature an engineered thermoplastic material in
both bases and rollers that is UV-stabilized and weatherproof. A hot-dipped
galvanized finish on the strut and hardware provides superior corrosion
resistance and durability. All thermoplastic bases are made from recycled
material and can contribute toward earning LEED credit.
The CADDY PYRAMID RL Series is structurally engineered to
support up to 6" diameter (Nom.) Sch. 40 water-filled steel pipe at a maximum
spacing of 10". Because the supports are height-adjustable, they can
accommodate elevation changes on the roof and are designed to keep conduit away
from higher ambient temperature, as required by code in many areas.
The supports feature a roller capability, which allows
longitudinal movement of pipe, such as from thermal expansion or contraction.
To accommodate elevation changes on the roof, the CADDY
PYRAMID RL Series is available as a fixed roller support or adjustable-height
roller support.
All CADDY PYRAMID products are weatherproof and have passed
a variety of rigorous tests, including an extreme temperature test. By
utilizing unique materials and finishes, the supports offer superior corrosion
protection. Unlike wood blocks, the supports are also designed to protect the
roof membrane from damaged caused by the movement of pipe expansion and
contraction.
