CADDY® PLANNER is free design calculation software that greatly simplifies the design process for mechanical contractors. CADDY PLANNER allows contractors to simulate fixation of pipe runs during construction in real time.
This useful tool is ideal for both simple and complex projects, and features a fully rendered two- and three-dimensional CADDY® component library. The necessary pipe dimensional and technical data is included, as well as free product data updates. Used in concert with AutoCAD 2007 and the liNear premium 3D plant design package, CADDY PLANNER’s 3D modeling allows for a virtual walk-through of the design, which makes planning easier, helps to avoid miscalculations and increases productivity.
CADDY PLANNER eliminates the need to use cumbersome catalogs and features a drag-and-drop interface and component properties that can be easily identified. CADDY PLANNER automatically compiles data relating to dimensional accuracy, certifications/approvals and necessary counter/complimentary components. Used together with AutoCAD 2007 and the liNear premium 3D plant design package, facility engineering is simplified by calculating clearances, tolerances, load ratings and the distance to the ceiling, wall or floor.
